This place is fantastic. Very well ran with incredible staff. I highly recommend this place I have nothing negative to say about it

I am a local Drug and Alcohol Counselor and a certified Interventionist. I have worked with Balboa Horizons since they began helping people 14 years ago. I recently had a male that I placed in their detox, he absolutely loved the staff and facility. He stated that the Doctor really made him comfortable throughout his detox stay. This allowed him the opportunity to feel better about his decision to continue to stay sober. I appreciate that fact that Balboa Horizons offers detox for other treatment centers and that they make it a smooth transition for both the client and interventionist working with the families. They also have an excellent residential treatment program and everyone loves the staff! If you are looking for a good ethical and caring facility this would be a good option.

I went through Balboa about 3 and a half years ago and I've been sober ever since. Balboa introduced me to myself and the life I knew I was capable of living, and I will be forever grateful. With all of the fraud and negativity surrounding treatment centers these days, Balboa is truly one of the only treatment centers that I would trust with a friend or loved one. Although it in inevitably a business, the staff at Balboa cares about the people that go through the program, and only want to see them grow and build amazing lives. If you or someone you love are struggling with the demon known as addiction, please give Balboa Horizons your attention because this place will give whoever is struggling the absolute best opportunity to recover amongst the vast sea of treatment centers that inhabits Southern California.

My son had ZERO interest in going here or frankly anywhere as he was bouncing around from place to place, but by the time he left , he had a serious break through and is now 5 months sober. It was the entire staff that made the difference. They are experienced, they listen, they care. It wasn't easy as he tried all of his typical BS excuses and manipulations, but they know what they are doing and took control of the situation. The facilities are clean, the food is good and kept us informed. I would highly recommend Balboa Horizons!

Personally, I have a friend who went through Balboa. He explained to me how awesome and understanding the staff were about his situation and how they did everything they could to get him back on his feet. Today he has a wonderful life in Southern California and is currently going to school and working in the industry. I know without Balboa horizons he would not be in such a good place today. I am very thankful for their program and I would highly recommend it for someone struggling with addiction!

Had a friend go thru their program when he needed help recovering from alcoholism. After he left for Balboa I didn't see him for a year and when he came back to visit, the difference I saw was black and white. He was an entirely new person. He talked about how helpful the staff was in aiding him to overcome his addiction. Never heard anything bad about anyone that works at Balboa. Thanks for helping so much guys!

My friend went through balboa horizons and his experience there helped save his life and provide him with an awesome future, I know a couple staff members there and they all are extremely knowledgeable on addiction and life skills. Balboa Horizons blows all other treatment centers out of the water! If you want your loved one to stay sober I highly recommend this place.

This place is truly amazing! I have seen many people go through here and get there life back. The energy of the place is always super positive because the staff are so helpful and up beat! From what I have seen while living in orange County balboa horizons has the highest success rate for people staying sober. I would advise anyone to go to this place who is struggling with addiction!

I have been to other treatments centers in the past and Balboa Horizons was by far the best. The program and structure are perfect for a struggling addict or alcoholic. The staff are all very professional and the Orange County area has more recovery than anywhere I have ever been. This program helped to save my life.
